Title: Macy's COME+TOGETHER
Post by: narunas on September 23, 2009, 07:30:13
I just finished building this site,  the media campaign is on the way, TV, etc. so there will be more exposure.

http://social.macys.com/cometogether

features: PureMVC/SWFAddress integration, a la "Liquid" stage sizing and scaling, Javascript based comm. with Java back-end. Over Flash overlays for most forms, with direct call backs to flash.
Google Maps Flash API throughout.

this was my first try with PureMVC and I will use this framework for the next projects - Cliff - thanks for something absolutely brilliant!

let me know if there are any more questions I can answer.
Overall the site is somewhat overdesigned and overloaded with gratuitous 3d - I am no fan of that - but client rules.

Nicely done. Is it pure AS3 or Flex?

In this one - it is strictly Flash/PureMVC - IDE was FDT/Eclipse - Flex Builder SDK/AS3 project. Some components used, like the Scroller, that were used as swc's and skinned.
