I'm evaluating different MVC frameworks (namely, Microsoft's "User Interface Process Application Block", v 2.0) and I'm very interested in considering PureMVC for my new project. So here two questions, from a newbie's perpective:

1. Is PureMVC being developed/tested with Mono compatibility in mind?
2. Why should I prefer PureMVC over UIPAB? (Strangely, I've seen no active development from MS since 2004)
3. Do you have an ETA for your release?

Thanks for any observations and explanations. It will help me make the case for adopting PureMVC when presenting it to my manager :)

The 2.0 version has a minor update to match orbits with the AS3 reference version, then it's being branched to cope with the new Silverlight usage of generic over non-generic collections. I'll let Matt chime in with status / ETA on that.
