This is coming along well and should be uploaded in the next couple of weeks. I am getting it fully integrated into my project, and then I will decouple it and make it generic - which will be easy because of PMVC :>

Somewhere down the road I'm going to be needing to implement a task-tracking Calendar. Initial thoughts lead me to consider Simple Tasks (http://extjs.com/blog/2007/06/29/building-a-desktop-application-with-ext-air-aptana-and-red-bull/) and/or perhaps Goggle's Calendar API.

Would be very interested to see a demo of your Calendar.

This is like 80% done. I landed a contract gig  (thanks PMVC!) that has absolutely consumed my free time for the last two months.

The good news is the high pressure fun has upped my game 5 or 6 notches so the calendar will be pretty sweet when finished. It would be cool to add some of the features in that calendar you posted, to give it a stronger interface for task management. I'd really like to apply some of the Getting Things Done™ (GTD) approach.

Cool, can't wait to see it. Nothing like a crunch job to get your game on. BTW, the VESession software is pretty nice, too. You've been pretty busy lately!

I'd really like to apply some of the Getting Things Done™ (GTD) approach.

Implies implementing 3rd parties' objects as native objects to P's framework? I've wondered about a simpler approach using GData's API generate VOs' definitions for various class actors - for example...when typing a time-based member - use GData's Calendar/Event API;  a person/account/addressable object would look to GData's Contact API. Extensions and exceptions handled the same way GData's does - by adhering Atom's Syndication format.

Enjoy the beach and pay never no mind to us poor, rain-soddened midwesterners waiting for a glimpse of that 80%.

sigh...

sorry if i sound so remorseful...it's just that since the primaries having moved on and all...just seems like no one cares anymore.

I Care Steve... and when the clouds part and rays of light bath your keyboard in a sunlit glow, a mere 80% will seem trivial as it recedes in the shadow of 100% ... Hmmm the ecstasy.
